Valve to “Open” Up Their Steam Linux Beta in Time for Christmas

Over at Phoronix, it was announced that Valve has plans of opening up their Steam Linux Beta to even more people, more than was actually revealed last week.  They stated that this will probably get more and more people testing the Source Engine games on the operating system to make sure it will work well on its home platform, which is also rumored to run on Linux.

I have yet to discover any official statements in regards to this happening, but we all know Valve doesn’t need them.  When they do something, they just do it.
